  Ultracare Business Development Manager for Mapei

  Rod Sigman is currently the Ultracare Business Development Manager for Mapei. Mr. Sigman has worked in the tile and stone industry specializing in care and maintenance for the past 35 años. Over this time, some of his roles have included product formulator, quality control, technical service manager, educator/trainer and jobsite specialist. He also has a background in surface prep for all flooring types.

  Mr. Sigman is responsible for product line management, educación, working with R&D to develop and implement new and or improved products, implementation of marketing support programs and materials and supporting the needs and objectives Of the sales department pertaining to architectural, national accounts, distribution and contractors. He is also responsible for national support of job site inspections, product specifications and demonstrations.

  Rod currently sits on the NTCA and NSI Technical committees’ and graduated the Ceramic Tile Consultant Course in 1995. He also passed the Certified Ceramic Tile Salesperson program in 2008 and was certified in 2019 with the designation of Concrete Slab Moisture Testing Technician. Mr. Sigman is also a frequent speaker at many national tradeshows including Coverings, Surfaces and Total Solutions Plus.

  Tim began his flooring career as an apprentice installer in 1985 learning how to install all types of flooring. He came to Arizona in 1997 and found he could not compete with those that were here so he became a C/S Tech. En 2003 he went on to become a superintendent working for Adam’s Brothers through their merger creating Primera. En 2015 he joined Schluter Systems.

  Tim has 6 siblings of which he was #4 so his mom decided to call him by #4. He was born and raised in Chicago. He loves to camp, do NASCAR, y, most of all, he loves his 3 dogs.
