  Scott Conwell is an architect and Director of Industry Development with International Masonry Institute. A leader in the tile and stone industry, he is a longstanding delegate to the Tile Council of North America (TCNA) Handbook committee and the ANSI committee for tile standards. He sits on the education committee of the Natural Stone Institute (NSI) and serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Licensed Architects (ALA). In his 30-year tenure at IMI, Conwell has presented over 1,500 seminars to designers all over the world. In recognition of his educational contributions to the national design community, Conwell has been conferred Fellow status by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI). Scott is a recipient of the Tile Contractors’ Association of America (TCAA) Cesery Award for Service to the Tile Industry.
