Joe Fortuna, the owner of Mexican Tile and Stone Co. has been a CTSAA member for 25 years. Joe took a few minutes to tell us about his business
CTSAA: Please give us a brief description of your company:
Joe: We are a retailer of fine hand-crafted decorative tile, terracotta tile, pavers and stone. We provide the finest renovation and restoration contracting services.
C: How did you get involved with the Ceramic Tile & Stone Association?:
J: 25 years ago I was invited to attend a meeting. I’ve been a member ever since.
C: What do you consider to be the biggest benefit of CTSAA membership?:
J: CTSAA offers many useful benefits. Networking, education, and industry affiliation are some of the best membership benefits.
C: What is your biggest challenge in either tile or stone?:
J: Customers understanding what they are buying is a constant challenge. It’s critical to be on the same page from start to finish to ensure customer satisfaction.
C: Are there any projects you have completed recently that you are particularly proud of?
J: The Yearin residence in Scottsdale, Arizona was a challenging and rewarding project. We installed a large amount of tile in a smaller home. It came together very nicely.
