Meet Meet Mexican Stone & Tile
This week we are taking a look at a custom residential project submitted by Joe Fortuna, the owner of Mexican Tile & Stone Company (https://www.mexicantileandstone.com )
This project involved both interior and exterior work on the site. The exterior work involved adding a 6x 6 blue porcelain tile wall with a beige travertine border.

This is the the wall from a distance. Note the detail and the way it continues into the blue border of the pool.
There was also extensive custom interior work performed. The interior portion included bathroom, stairwell, flooring, and a vanity. Let’s take a look at the detail of the stairs.

This handcrafted design includes Manganese Saltillo stair-tread and tile with decorative cement tile risers. This outstanding design combines both beauty and safety.

This is a custom made mural surrounded by various Talavera style solids, shapes and patterns. The design of the mural is such that the eye is drawn to the exquisite desert scene in the center.
Next we move to the first of the 2 bathrooms. This one includes matching custom work on the shower and vanity.

This custom hand-crafted shower features Talavera style solid color with straight layout lower and diagonal set upper. Huichol collection decorative tile is used for the decorative accents.

This classic Furniture piece vanity has been accented with Azul (blue) Talavera style 4×4 and decorative matching 4×4 and 2×2 tile.
Lastly we have the sitting area with its classic look.

This room makes use of classic 12×12 dark Terracotta color cement tile. The color variations in the tile add depth and visual interest to the room.
